Reform Party surge to 13% - just 7% behind the Conservatives
Reform Party - formerly the Brexit Party - are now polling 13% with months to go before the General Election

The Tories are so politically incompetent (particularly on immigration) that they've essentially brought Ukip back from the dead. You can imagine what now might happen if Farage returns to lead them. We're potentially looking at a Canada-1993 outcome.
The thing with FPTP is that once a major party is overtaken in % by an upstart party, FPTP then works against them in terms of retaining seats. In 1983 the same thing very nearly happened to the Labour Party had it not been for a difference of about 2% of the vote between it and the Social Democratic Party (SPD): https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1983_United_Kingdom_general_election
All quite hilarious. I just cannot believe they threw away an 80 seat majority like this. On their heads be it.
