Sulake UK declare solvency

Thought it may get more traction than just in Habbo discussion and it is sort of news that I don't think was posted. Randomly searched Sulake accounts in Google as I like doing that for different companies from time to time. Didn't expect to see that Sulake UK actually declared solvency in January. It can all be found on companies house etc. but there's a link here too: https://find-and-update.company-information.service.gov.uk/company/04137310/filing-history. Might not be of interest to many but thought I'd post it anyway!

I don't know much about how it all works, just doesn't look good for the UK branch of it, wonder if the rest of it will follow suit?

Interesting - I don't think Habbo/Sulake themselves have been doing that well in recent years to be fair. They still advertise on their website they have a UK branch still. I wonder if that is now then operated by Azerion instead.

It seems the parent company has been racking up debts for some time.

I'd guess it's just a wrap-up to merge properly into the Azerion family - there are only 11 people working for Sulake UK and they're all (as far as I can tell) directors/managers/etc who all work remotely so it doesn't matter where HQ is. They're also mooooostly if not all heavily involved in the NFT dev side of things, which Habbo seem to be leaning into a lot rather than pulling away from it.

I could be VERY wrong obv and maybe it'll all be bought up by Rockstar with Habbo getting incorporated into GTA6, but my assumption would be it's just housekeeping for accounts
