YouGov put the Tories slumping down to 4th place

The party which has dominated government since 1834 is now polling fourth in the polls

And would you believe that these clowns are thinking of bringing back Boris '900,000 immigrants a year' Johnson? Tim Montgomerie shared on TimesRadio earlier today that Boris Johnson is in talks with Tory MPs in 'safe seats' (do they exist any more for the Tories?) to have one of them stand down and he take their place in a by-election.

Hugely enjoyable to watch them sink beneath the waves and so richly deserved.

Here's Tim Montgomerie on the Boris story.

I voted for Boris in 2019 - and I can categorically say I will never, ever, ever, ever vote for him or his useless party again.

Up again with another pollster.

They're now on 30% or more with the majority of pollsters.

Polls mean little, especially 4 years away from a GE.

Polling trends mean a lot though - if you recall, Ukip polling in the teens was what pressured Lord Cameron into holding a referendum and the Brexit Party outpolling the Conservatives in the 2019 European Elections was what finished Baroness May's premiership off and led to her resignation.

Cameron made a bad choice, and after that Tories were just killing leader after leader like idiots.

Cameron had no choice - backbenchers were preparing to defect to Ukip (two did).
