The former Labour MPs Jeremy Corbyn and Zarah Sultana are joining forces with 5 Islamist MPs to create a new party

The party currently doesn't have a name but it will be decided soon - the suggestions flying around X have included 'Jezbollah' which is quite fitting. Personally I'm excited to hear their policy on gay rights and transgenders, squaring that circle with open support for Hamas in Palestine and needing Islamic voters will require some serious mental gymnastics.

But anyway, I'm pretty content with it as it further splits the vote allowing dozens more constituencies to fall Reform's way.

My feeling is that the remaining Tory vote is just on the precipice - the Scottish & Welsh elections next year, combined with English Locals, will mark a tipping point where the Conservatives will be viewed as a spent force/wasted vote, and that remaining vote will start to collapse.
