Government considering banning X

The British, Australian and Canadian governments are considering a joint move to ban the free speech platform

Britain already arrests more people for free speech 'offences' than any other country, and now they're considering banning the number one free speech platform that they're powerless to control - which is why they hate it. And yet, they'll tell you that Russia is a threat to our freedoms and that we should sign up to defend the country if it came to a clash with Russia. I think at this rate I'd welcome the Russians.

And without a hint of irony, Sir Keir Starmer only yesterday criticised the Iranian government for shutting off its internet services.

They're lower than pond slime - time for those VPNs.

Can't say I've read much into this but I thought the whole reason he wanted it banned is due to the Grok ai producing certain images of Holly Wheeler from Stranger Things, who is a child. Can't say I disagree that no matter your views on free speech, those sort of images should be banned from being generated.

It is an issue, however surely the correct thing to do is to police the platform and prosecute those who are producing CP. The Police already trawl social media platrforms for wrongthink (after all, we have no real crime in Britain) so I'm sure they could redirect these resources to those producing such content.

I saw last night also that HM Canadian Government has now ruled this action (a ban) out.
