Maybe people don't use it as much as home phone or SMS and that is why they have put this offer on, to get more people to use it. I won't be though :D

Here's a good reason for you- ANYONE FROM ANY COUNTRY CAN USE BT IF THEY HAVE A CREDIT CARD. NOT EVERYONE CAN USE SMS / HOME PHONE, INCLUDING ME. xP
