How do you stack furni from the floor? I'm having trouble setting out my new casino :'(

I can stack, but I use mode bars, and how do you stack from the floor?

Nooo, your not getting my point, when I stac, thee is a gap underneath, and if you go into some other rooms, there is not a gap. "/
