We were given the task to write a metaphorical poem. So I wrote this and my teacher liked it. its metaphorical in several parts (my teacher kinda guessed what it was about) and when i say midgets i don't mean midgets..so....it represents size...so no offence intended if offence has been offended.

Today I met a midget, 7 inches tall
He sat on my lap
For only a few minutes
We laughed
We played
We talked

But then the noise fell silent
when i accidently insulted
the little excited midget
who wondered and consulted

so the midget jumped off my lap
and walked into the sunset
with his little midget friends
and a funny silouette

i laughed
and
died inside

maybe i should kill myself
an overdose perhaps
fall.
fell.
collapsed.
got to reach.
top shelf.
and fall
and feel relaxed
and turn to full throttle
to end my life with the bottle

i saw a lot of midgets that day
and several yet to come
midgets wanting presents
a truth yet to be undone

so the shutters are coming down
the exit soon be locked
a sweating, fat, red man
mocks me.

i leave hell
and enter it also
its been a good day.
to me?

i don't know.
