I got Fifa 06 yesterday, and started Manager Mode with QPR (of course!).
We got off to a terrible start, but then we started getting scrappy 1-0's and 2-1's all over the place! We've started to play with flare and are scoring more now. Enjoy my stats so far!
1. QPR - 43
2. Leicester City - 40
3. Burnley - 38
4. Norwich - 37
5. Sheff Utd - 34
6. Cardiff City - 34
Top Scorers
1. Leon Mckenzie - 17 [Norwich City]
2. Paul Furlong - 15 [QPR]
3. Junior - 11 [Watford]
4. David Connolly - 10 [Leicester City]
5. Leon Knight - 10 [Brighton]
6. G Williams - 9 [Leicester City]

Is fifa 06 any good? They just seem to be the same every year.
I'd rather spend my money on Pro Evo ;)

ditto
they immprove quite a lot and i like the commentators on fifa. plus the players arent as itteligent on pro evo. eg if u bring ur keeper out to the half way line they dont think of trying to shoot instead they only shoot when they get near the goal....

I'm going to wait till the 21st of October for it to come out on the PSP. It looks good but over the years, Pro Evo has convinced me to play that instead of Fifa.
I found Fifa rather easy over the years, I've heard that Fifa 2006 is meant to be challenging?
I'll wait and see :)

Yea, it is a bit more challenging, and I'm getting PES5 when it comes out anyway, so I'm all good. ;D

Fifa 06 sound great lads..
but if your struggling..
Pro Evo 5 has new skills, much more realistic features. neater menus the lot.
And when your teams attacking the crowd get right behind your team, and the ooohs and aahs when you miss. They have trademark celebrations like Lampards and Drogbas...
Fifa 06 is meant to be awesome, with new celebrations and enhanced game play, it's meant to be the game to buy. I don't know much about the game..
Apparently, you can alter the ticket prices and you recieve emails with weird dilemmas like, One of your players has long hair and it is distracting the other players, you can Chop it off, Leave it as it is, Chop it off on live TV for charity... lmao.. Pro Evo or Fifa? I'll get both ;)

As for the haircut scenario, I had that at the start of my 2nd season. :P

I heard in FIFA, you can only get a straight red card if you're the last man, which is lame ;L

Nobody at my school plays on Pro Evo that much (some of them are geeks who play on the consoles EVERYDAY in SEN room and play on Tekken and stuff like that), and my mate Rob already has FIFA, and he says Pro Evo was let down becuase THERE IS NO LICENSING REALISM. I mean, what do they do in PES4 (or 5 I dunno)? Put the licensed kits in for La Liga and Eredivisie teams. Big whoop. FIFA is much better IN MY OPINION. And some of my friends' too.
