So I buy tickets to play and now I'm intermediate except none of the lobbies will let anyone make new games because all the room is being taken up by old games that are over. I bought the tickets so I could actually play, not waste all night waiting to.

I understand your pain and grief. I don't see why they don;t do that so that if there were recent games, after they are over, they should be deleted. >:[
