OH MY GOD. This isn't recent, but it's shocking.
On Wednesday 4th November a firework plant, containing 2000 tons of fireworks, caught on fire near a small town called Kolding. The fire got out of control and resulted in an enormous explosion that could be heard over 200 km away. (Read More..) (http://www.b0g.org/wsnm/article/16419)
