Garba

The hindu dance festival on navratri began today. Navratri is a 10 day festivil where u go 2 ure local well "garba" and do stick dances and dance around statues of god.
Garba is when you get these dandya which are sticks and you stand in a line of around 100 people and theb you "dance" with sticks!
Its hard to explain but as a hindu its like CHRISTMAS! Fun funfun! You go with your family and women dress in indian and bangles and men dress up and yayayayay!
Its soo cool and hard 2 explain. We begin dancing at like 9pm and finish at 3am!
There in like halls,schools etc and ime going with me mates this year!

Anyway navrati nu anand means happy navratri!
