It might be because both : D : d and : P : p generate the same smiley. I'm not sure if we can fix that.

I Think you can Ive got a VB Look in the Admin Control panel you should find the smily set under Emoticons or something then it shows the emos you want to show. You can select ones you dont. Hope this helps :)

Admin Cp > Smilies > click the Smilie set, and edit them, to see if it is Duplicated, it maybe just a bug though :]

sierk why dont you make another smiley, like a picture of a cow or something lol, delete the :P and add that one instead ?

If you are then its under Additional Options, in the first category called Miscellaneous Options, then there are three options, its the bottom one, its says:

Disable smilies in text

Just check that box and smilies don't come out.

Iff that is even what you mean xD
