In my opinion, the worst way to die would being eaten by those Shawn of the Dead/Dawn of the Dead freaky 'dead alive' people.

Probably burnt alive that would be horrific also drowning might not hurt but it would be horrible.

I'd hate being buried alive, once I did this PATHETIC 'suicide attempt', when I was a bit immature, and I held my hand over my mouth and held my nose, and my chest was started to properly hurt, and then I let go and burst out laughing at myself.

So dying like that must be pretty horrible.
