geta sniper rifle and find a hiding spot and pick people off tis fun or get rocket launcher and plasma grenades and go suicidal sticking plasmas to people and fireing rockets everywhere

Don't try to avoid the swearing filter!

Join a clan as early as you can. Then go around with them and they should protect you. When you get the chance you can pop some heads when you have cover from your clan members. Also, try to stay out of vehicles as they are hard to drive for newbie's.
