Really now, how many of you actually have a social life?

You all have friends, there's no doubt about that.
But, do you actually go out with them?

----------------------------------------------
I have alot of friends, but most of them are girls. I do not have a social life, at the moment I wouldn't like one. I have alot of coursework to do, I've done loads but each day I'm getting more. I have no time to be going out.

Another reason on why I don't have a social life - most people smoke in my school, I don't want to get into that habit and most of them are complete and utter idiots.

Edit: Me being bisexual/gay doesn't help. (I don't know if that made sense, the bisexual/gay - it's like urm I like guys more than girls.)

Yep, I have a social life. Me and my friends hang out a lot, whether it's hanging out at someones house or going out of town to a show, or whatever.

I would say I have a pretty social life. I go out with mates on almost every afternoon in weekdays after school. Whether it be going for a kick about down the park, going to meet chicks down the youth club or going for a trek down to Tatsfield to meet other mates from around that area. I go out to watch QPR every Saturday and play Sunday league football every Sunday morning, so I don't usually get much time over the weekends, but sometimes go out on Sunday afternoons. Apart from my morning match, and going for a kick about on the green, I haven't done much today, though.

This summer it wasent great because one of my better friends at school got a girlfriend and spent every minute with her. Kinda messed things up. They broke up, so its better now. I have other friends, but we are kinda conected, so if one of us is busy, its harder to make plans.

Whenever I'm not home I have a social life... kind of hard to have one when you live 20 miles from the nearest person and don't drive. But I'm moving back up to the town I went to college at in a week where all of my college friends are. There we hang out every night at one of the five houses and watch movies or play drinking games all night. Then some will go to work the next day or classes and we'll do the same the next night. Then on the weekends we go party. Now that half of us are 21 we'll be going to the bars more than the parties though.

I used to have a very busy social life. Out every day either shopping/ down the pub/ with a current boyfriend or round a friends then at weekends id always either be at a house party or the rugby club. Since i came out of hospital ive barely left the house though...

Why don't you try to make friends that live locally? I had to settle in with no schoolmates/old mates from round my yard when I moved house, but now I'm out playing football with Kris, Tim, Jeff, Billy and Reece EVERYday.

I do but in the school holidays and weekend I go to see my aunts I hate staying home due to family problems so I don't hang about with people beside my aunts ( like 100 mils away from ym home) But when I am home I have a very good social life. I tend not to go outside in the winter due to darker nights that make me feel uncomftroble and when I am home on wedesdays I go to youthclub thing for 2 hours. So yeah my social life is ok. Plus at school I have a big group of great friends.

I have a social life and sometimes i do enjoy going out with my friends but every single night all they do is go out and smoke and drink and get into loads of trouble. Sometimes they do really stupid things. I don't want to be into things like that i'd prefer to stay home until i leave school and get friends who'd prefer to hang out in each others house than drink on streets. Every single night is the same and it's really boring. Normally they are always picked up off the police and there names are taken and things like that and i'd rather not get into things like that.

Hmm my social life is alright i suppose, it could be better, i'm trying to improve it by going out with my friends more, i had a time when i felt so depressed i just didn't feel like going out, but im getting better.

Like last weekend i went bowling with all my friends and it was a right laugh :P and i really enjoyed myself, but i should do more, i need to get a hobby, i want to go to a proffesional dancing place but there are no decent dancing places around here x[ cause i love dancing...and singing... x[

The overuse of the 'smiley' "=l" is somewhat uneccesary. May I add - I only have negative views over certain issues. This however, doesn't happen to be one of those. So I may whinge about members' grammar/word structure but at the end of the day, it's for your own benefit. :)

Of course I have a social life, at the moment it's been stunted and we only go out on friday/ saturday because of all our coursework and homework, there's so much!! We're quite seclusive actually, it's a rarity that we'll want somone else to be part of our group of friends, like sit with us at lunch and things, most of the people that do come are because of the girls, they don't seem to hate anyone ¬.¬.

I have loads of friends but since I've gone to a different college to them, I havn't been seeing them as much as I used to.
The area I live in has absoloutley no-one my age or if there is, I havn't seen any.

Right now, my social life is at a dim level, but the good thing for me is that I'm independent. For some reason I like being by myself on occassions. So for me, I don't really find it tough not having one, but after a while, it does get a tad bit boring.
