You'll be fine.
I hate needles too. I had my bgc injection in june at the clinic because i chickened out at school. I sat there in the car for about 1 hour and a half cause i was sared the 6 needle one was going to hurt. I eventually went in and had it done and said have you done it yet? I hadnt even noticed it was done. Then the big injection its best if you dont look at the needle or your arm after. Its about 10 secs and it may sting quite bad but its different for a lot of people. Its best to have a 10 secs needle than having a 6month disease which may not be able to cure/

I had that a while back, felt a tiny stab but nothing more, didn't ache either. I was kinda nervous on the build up, but I worry about EVERYTHING so it's no surprise.

It was such a huge build-up, yet a tiny spike in the end, didnt hurt when it went in, just stang a tiny bit afterwards.

I had it done a year ago, a boy fainted, my friend cried, people screamed... But they are such drama queens. I mean, yes it is scary at first, but think of it this way, I skipped the whole day off school HELPING matron (school nurse) get kids to have their injections. Also, you get to skip class!
It doesn't hurt really!

Before I had mine everyone was like

"OMGZ IT HURTS SO BAD1! THEY KEEP IT IN FOR LIKE 5 MINUTES N IT STINGS REALLY BAD!" I didn't feel anything. I didn't even know the nurse had done it. As for the 6 needles you get, you don't feel anything at all!

Amyia
12-10-2005, 03:28 PM
Lol - I was really scared to get it but it actually didn't hurt but afterwards it did start to ache for a while but then it just went. There was nothing to be scared of.
