Things you will need :
Notepad
Possibly Abode Photoshop 7.0
A host
Basic html/css knowledge
-----------------------------------------------
I don't make my own templates unfortunatly because i am a n00b to webdesign but i do edit and put my own codes in. But anyway, first download a template from a website that provides them.
I recommend Zymic.com (http://www.Zymic.com)
-----------------------------------------------
Once you have downloaded the file you may want to edit the pictures if it has .PSD access. You can edit these in Adobe Photoshop 7.0+ or in paint but that's harder.
-----------------------------------------------
You should have a file called 'index.htm' in your download file. Right click then hover over 'open with...' the click notepad. You should see something like

<html>
<Title>Your website title here</title>
etc etc
----------------------------------------------
Things you can delete & changed :
Websites Titles
Hover colours on links
links title
links destination
the text
the images
---------------------------------------------
After that it's pretty straight forward...
... Just keep designing

Kinda pointless, it basically tells you nothing except that you need a template and you need a title.

lol yeh, but tbh when i was a noob at this stuff i cud do with a little basic help, but i reckon that notepad is the worst place to start on web design, when you start use the basic frontpage or dreamweaver, theres loads of stuff out there

Straigh speaking Toxic bring the situation to light again. That wouldn't help anyone as it does tel you anything and misses out more details that it gives ''/
