My sister and brothers dad walked out on my mom when she was having my sister. And then he never paid welfare or anything, no cards. :('tis sad.

My parent's are still happily married and i hope it stay's that way. I couldn't imagine life without either of them. If i had to go and live with one of them i couldn't choose i would have to stay at one of my nanna's and grandad's house.

My dad left me, my mum and two brothers when I was about 4? I'm the oldest so I had to help out alot. My dad was dossing about then and thats why he left.
However, we see him every week, he takes us out, gives us money etc... I'm greatful that I still have my dad and both my mum and dad are friends which is good.

I agree, it could be worse if you're Mum and Dad were enemies, and you were a witness to a lot of arguments.

My mother and father got divorced when i was 5. I remember it like any other day. Still makes me cry when i think about it.
Then back in 2003, my dad had a heart attack and got rushed to hospital. I remember seeing him in the bed with tubs from his nose to mouth to fingers to feet. He died that night.
All i have left now is my mum and sister.
