Glasses

This article is about how it feels for most people who wear glasses when they are asked:

"Why do you wear Glasses"
or
"can i try your glasses on"

Both Questions get very annoying and mostly both make the person who wears glasses feel really self consious and insecure when sed. I Myself wear glasses and have done for 10 years i dont mind wearing them as im used to it but whenever i take my glasses off i get stuff like "Ewww u look really weird" i have tried contact lenses and still getting used to them but i wish alot of the time i could have perfect vision. Dont get me wrong glasses are ok and are now at this moment in time quite in fashion but a few years ago it would be a different story where anyone with glasses are geeks.

the point in this article is to just say if you have ever sed "Why do you..." or "Can i try.." just think about what might become of your actions. All actions bring consiqences (ABC) :)

I have to wear glasses for reading the board[sp?!]. When I first got glasses my friends were all like geek!!! It wasn't nice, so I didn't wear them and suffered from headaches. I wear them now because I need to because its fuzzy when I look in the distance.

I luckily had mine at an early age but b4 that i wore an Eye Patch which was Even Worse as i couldnt see much at all

I wear glasses for everything. I am getting contact lenses.

This girl always ask me to wear my glasses, even on MSN, so I just go "What the heck is it with you and my glasses?" and she laughs xP

When I take of my glasses, people call me "pothead" because I look like a "drug dealer" lol. It's 'cos they ain't used to me. I promised them I'd make a skit of Harry Potter like I did with my "destroy all geeks". It'll be called "Harry Pothead and the chamber of ****". xP

I don't mind wearing glasses, I have trendy ones :) Although I will soon be getting contacts.

well i had my eyes tested ermm yesterday! and i need glasses but not to wear all the time coz im short sighted justto look at the board and stuff well at first i was like i'm gonna get made fun of but all my friends were really supportive and they said they would beat up who ever makes fun ;) lmao!

my brother used to wear glasses and he found it irretating when people were asking why do u wear them once and then a weak later youd take them of and put them on the next weak it was like a life cycle of glasses...

I have to wear glasses all the time and have done since i was 7.
The thing that especially annoys me is when it rains and you cant see and you have to keep cleaning your glasses. Another annoying thing is you cant just dose off to sleep, you have to take your glasses off, by then your not falling asleep anymore. I hate glasses, pfft.

I kno Exactly how u feel i hate rain and in PE i have to wear glasses and if it rains it becomes hard to see

I'm going for an eye test when my brother books his appointment. This is because I can see the board from a distance, but it's quite fuzzy. Alos, when I tried my friends glasses on, they worked miracles!

I've had glasses for about a month now 'cause I'm short sighted. my eyesight has recently got really bad I can't remember it ever being this bad. But I wasn't too bothered bout getting them, nobody makes fun at anyone for having glasses and I don't have to wear them all the time even though the optician said I'd benefit from it. I like my glasses they rock.

I found out a few months ago that i need them when i started learning to drive. I'd noticed it was getting harder to read from the board at school. I only where them when im in the car. I cant stand wearing them as im really not used to it and they get in the way, i would try contact lenses but prodding myself in the eye daily doesnt seem worth it for small car journeys.

I like my glasses they have become a part of me :D and im learning how to put in contacts i can get them out just not in...
