The clock struck 12, it was now officially Halloween. Phillip wiped the last of the tables, picked his coat up off the counter, and lit a pumkin he had made the night before; he grabbed his keys, turned the lights out, and watched the flickering of the flames inside of the pumpkin...
Phillip left Habbo Hotel and stood admiring the moon; the trees were perfectly still, the sky was clear and not a cloud in sight. He could hear the giggling of Habbos near by, they just like Phillip, were getting ready for Halloween, or Habboween how Phillip called it. One by one the children raced up to Phillip chanting trick or trick. He laughed and reached deep into his pockets and handed them each a Habburger - it's all he had. The children ran off into the dark night as Phillip stood looking at his watch.
'Kristin this isn't funny, we need to meet with Phillip, he's waiting for us... where are you Kris?'
Howdy stood dazed, in the middle of the road, searching for Krissums. He looked up at the sky, and heard footsteps as he turned away from the glistening of the moon.
'BOO!' shouted Kris laughing. She grabbed her broom and started dancing around it.
'I got you there howdy. I thought you said you never get scared.'
'Whatever Kris! Lets just go and get Phillip, he says he has something to tell us, which will really get us spooked out, we need to make the most of this Halloween.'
Howdy and Krissums finally arrived outside of Habbo Hotel, it was strange seeing it empty; the Lido had no splashes, the screams from the wobble squabble couldn't be heard, and there was not a Habbo in sight, everything was as quiet as the Library itself.
'Wheres Phillip then Howdy?!'
'He said he would be here Kris, outside of the hotel...'
Howdy and Krissums looked at each other, pacing up and down the hotel front when suddenly they heard an old voice shriek 'Habburger anyone?!'
'Phillip! Haha, I love the costume, where did you get it. Oh, and there's blood! said Krissums sarcastically. Phillip was quick to answer back and made sure they knew it was his work outfit. He was a very serious man when working at Habbo Hotel.
'Anyway guys, lets go for a drive, I want to tell you this story, and believe me it's scary!' said Phillip.
He lead the way as Howdy locked arms with Krissums. Phillip opened his car, which was parked near by and they all jumped in. Phillip drove, whilst Krissums and Howdy sat listening to music on their stereos. 'Tell us the story shouted Krissums'
'Okay, let me just take a left and and park up and I'll tell the story'
'Where are we going anyway?' said Howdy
'Bobbayard' answered Phillip
After an hour of driving, Phillip parked up his car. He got out, quickly followed by Krissums and Howdy, and locked his car. 'Welcome to Bobbayard!' said Phillip tapping Kris.
'Hey that isn't funny, just tell the story and lets get out of here' said Kris, still locking arms with Howdy.
Phillip sat down on a nearby tree stump and told the story.
'It all started 15 years ago on Halloween night... You know the Library, it wasn't always the new Library you see today. An old fella used to work there, Alfie his name was. He loved the Library and loved his books, I remember the day he persuaded Callie to get the boys in to start work. Eventually they did, it wasn't as grand as what it is today, but it was nice. Ariel, Marcus and me used to meet up every Sunday and speak to him about Literature, Ahh I miss him. Anyway, one night Habbo Hotel got broken into by some evil Habbos, they decided to destroy Alfie's library, and so they did...
The following day Callie called a meeting, she said that Alfie was missing and all his treasured books had been destroyed, she said shelves and books had axe marks in or something. Anyway, Alfie was never seen again, and not a single one of his books servived, the only thing recovered was an axe...
'Wow... So the new Library has replaced the old one?'
'Indeed' said Phillip, with his head in his hands.
'I wonder where Alfie went then.'
'Some say he was so destraught that he packed up and left' replied Phillip.
Phillip, Howdy and Krissums eventually got back into the car and drove off. Krissums was glad that they were leaving Bobbayard, there was something quite not right about it.
Heavy rain started and the trees started swaying; it was hard for Phillip to see where he was going.
BANG...BANG...BANG... 'What was that?!'
Phillip, slightly shook up, said nothing and carried on driving.
They finally arrived back at Habbo Hotel, the rain had stopped and everyone was feeling better.
'Oh no, looks like I'm going to have to take my car to those tech boys, smokes coming from the engine.' said Phillip, letting out a sigh.
'Do it tomorrow, no worries' said Howdy reasurringly.
Morning came, the sun was out and the birds was singing, the Habbos were dressed up in various different Halloween costumes. Phillip opened the doors of Habbo Hotel, and greeted all the Habbos, but he wasn't too happy about his car. He took it to the tech boys working near by and run straight back to Habbo to continue making Habburgers.
Johno, one of the tech boys looked at the car puzzled.
