Flooded!

My basement got flooded cuz of this stupid rain!!! Up in rhode island, we got like 6 inchs of rain. We had a Flood watch in New England for like 24 hours. some places got like 10 inches of rain. My basement got flooded but luckly, we su..cked all the water up! :)

Oh no, well thank god it was in the basement!

Omg we've had a flood in your back of our house too, luckily the rest of our house is on stilts.

But anyway, it had been raining like 2 days straight, and it caused the paddling pool to over flow in the back garden,LOL, it was at the back of the garden, (probabl didn't help that our back garden has a slight slope to it), but I heard this massive whoosh sound and ran to the back door and saw it suddenly flowing in, we didn't have electricity for a little while, my mum stood there mopping in her wellyboots for about an hour, and it dried out, and the electricity came back on. :eusa_danc

Oh god, rain is soo annoying, I couldn't imagine having it for 8 days, that must have ****ed, Australia kinda needs rain the grass is all brown, lol.

But our roof is made of tin, and the rain it makes a loud tapping noise, it drives me crayyyzee.

I dont think the water would get to much in my basement, we have this room that in the basement but the floor is about 6 inches lower than the rest of the
basement. The room has all the pool equipment. The only time the basement flooded, it flooded in that room because the valve in for the pool froze and broke and the water from the pool came into that room and we also have this pump and its in a hole and when it fills up with water it comes on..
