yah, I'd invite your friend over if it's okay with your mom... I've learned in my life it's best to listen to your parents at it helps earn their trust and over time they'll allow you to do more things because they can trust you.
But hey, I went out to the bar tonight after work... and even called my mom while I was there... I love drunk dialing my parents.

Me: Meh... kind of boring. It's pretty empty and there's hardly any girls.
