I read somewhere that this was another design concept for the PS3.
What was funny was the number of people that actually hate the current PS3 design and prefer this one.
It looks pretty nice, and sleek, but I still think the Revolution takes the prize for best industrial design- it's simple, sleek, non-obstructive, and it's nice to look at while not taking over the living room space.
Bleh. Take the little "foot" off. :P It looks poo, unless it serves a purpose.

Looks like a Skateboard ramp/oven.. How ulgy can a console get?

If they removed the ramp/hold thing at the bottom, it'll look a lot better.
The ramp reminds me of a phone, with like a big thing sticking out of it, it's foul! If they made the thing behind the ramp more smooth and NOT black plastic, it'd be ok, it should be one smooth curve at the bottom.
it just looks ugly but id still buy 1 lol
