Habbo Hotel's movie experience inspires hundreds of thousands teenagers around the world
In Habbowood participants get to direct their own movie and promote it to other Habbo Hotel users
HELSINKI, Finland, March 29, 2006 - HABBO HOTEL, one of the world's largest and hottest on-line destinations for teenagers, introduces the ultimate film making and promoting contest of 2006: Habbowood! Starting in late March or beginning of April depending on country, the campaign is a sequel to the first Habbowood, arranged in 2005. It inspired youngsters from around the world to direct over 400 000 movies. This year's campaign will be even bigger and of course more fun!
The basic idea in Habbowood 2006 is that the participant gets to be a movie director and a promoter at the same time - just like in its real-life equivalent Hollywood. The task list is simple:
* Create your own movie script, cast the actors and direct the film using Habbo Hotel's enhanced movie making tools
* Promote your movie in Habbo Hotel (and elsewhere) and get your fans to vote for your movie
* Win fame and glory as well as cool prizes!
Promoting can be hard work as also the campaign slogan suggests: "Do you have what it takes?" The most voted films will get besides fame and glory in Habbo Hotel, also great prizes! The winners will be announced in a Habbo Hotel gala event arranged after the campaign in Habbo Hotel.
