I think admins/owners of their sub-forums should be able to ban users from viewing their sub-forum, of course not a forum ban, lolz
What do you guys think about this?

You can always ask a Admin to put a password on your subforum and only give it out to your friends?
why don't you password protect your forum and send your friends the pass?
Why would you want to ban somebody from viewing your forum anyway?
You can apply a password to your subforum from the moderator control panel.
