Another X-Men Question

Well, In X-men 1, Mystique (The one who can change into anything) Changes into Wolverine, and while she is Wolverine she can use his powers and his claws, etc... Well in X-Men 3 she is being held in an institute, well couldn't she just change into Magneto and use his power (control metal) and escape that way?

Well, I think I've answered this one actually. She uses Wolverine's Claws and they're in his body and are part of him, so maybe she can just use things such as that as its not a mutant power. :P

Because wolverine had his claws out plus they are his body. magneto is mind so she cant use his or anyone elses she can only mimic appearance if that makes sense
