She has cancer, her name is Puss Puss. Been in the family for 14 years, ever since I was a little kid. She always snuggles up right next to you when your cold, she always in a way comforted me whilst I was scared at night.. shes been a great cat.
The only problem is that shes dying slowly, so I know that most things will be the lasts, just seeing her around the house is a depressing reminder for whats to come.
Im gonna miss her, I dont want her to die :(
I know how you feel, I lost a cat last summer due to it eating a rat that had died (rat poison) Our neighbours had mice/rats and must've poisoned them. Before she died she was real slow, not her usual self. She died laying down in the spot which she always layed in.
Old family pet too.
Just remember, it happens. Things have to die. :(
I've experienced what losing a close pet is like, as you've probably seen form my signature or heard.
It is extremely hard, but you just need to get through it and get on with life, and take each day as it comes. All I can really advise you is to prepare yourself for the day, and make your cats life amazing for whats left of it. I didn't get the chance to do that for Becky and it's what I regret most as hers was quite unexpected.
You'll get through it dont worry, just know your cat has had a happy life and that she has also made you happy, and that she has died loving you and will be in a better place until you see her again some day. :] x

I know exactly how you feel!
My cat died a few months ago from old age, she was 22. [Older then me!]
I'd known her since I was born :(
Before she died [Around 4 days before], she was really weak. She wouldn't drink or eat or anything. I tried to make her eat but she wouldnt. She stopped being able to move her leg and thats when I knew she was going to go soon. I spent the last few days with her in my backyard. I thought this would be good for her, as she was so old we were worried about letting her outdoors anymore [Cars ect] so now she could enjoy her last few days outdoors. The night she died I was at my friends house, and I had a feeling before I went there that that night may be the last. I came back the next morning and my mum brought me the sad news. :(
It was so sad... I remember, when she was weak, she would try get out of her basket to get a drink, but she couldnt do it :( she used to always meow when she needed something and wake me up, and i'd always look after her. But that night I wasnt there, and i regret that :(
If shes dying slowly, and you can't stand it. Have her put down at the vets.
Its also best for her anyway.
Its obviously your choice though.

i dont know wat it feels like to loose an animal even tho ive had quite a few heres the story ;
i had a german sheperd but we gave it away to a farmer because my mum was having a baby and you cant trust one of those neer a baby.
Then i got a white cat but it ripped my mum new sofa so we gave that away.
then i got a Staff it was when it reached 8 years old you could tell it was getting weaker, but sadly 4 week ago somebody stolen it :( ...
so up to yet ive never experienced any of my animals dying.
A few hours ago we put her to sleep. We made this little grave for her in the backyard with a picture of her on it. I just cant beleive that she wont be around again, saying goodbye was a real pain too. I love her, I wish she didnt have to die :(
