Don't listen to what others say. They are in the mil's. Best check on official Runescape forums to see what the prices selling and buying for santas are.

Rares that will not be re-released ie your santa will always go up in price in the longterm... but can go down like by 100k in the shortrun...
The reason the price goes up is because,
1.Rares becomes rarer... due to ppl losing them
2.As more players play runescape, this will fuel the economy bringing in more GP currency therefore increases inflation so prices increase, also when the balance between money made and money drained from the economy is greater... eg money made into economy by high alching, money drained by barrow upgrade
