k, im sorta in need of help [:
i know im bi, & my feelings for girls are starting to get more strong. i really want to tell my family & friends, i just dno how to. i know my mum would be alright with it, yet i don't know how the rest of my family would react. then i think about how my friends would react, & that just doesn't help. i can't think of anyone in my school whos come out as being gay, & that puts me off more [:
so what could i do, cos its driving me crazy not being able to tell anyone.

and my parents will think i am like invalid or something.

If you know your mom will be okay with it, tell her first, she might help you tell other people. Don't tell your friends or whoever untill you feel your ready to tell them. You have all the time in the world, don't have to rush coming out.

Its a 'who cares' sorta thing.
In my opinion, i'm not gay i'm not bi, but what i'd honestly do is tell your parents (and siblings?) and your CLOSEST few friends, tell them to keep it quiet, but not to avidly deny it if someone thinks theyve head something, reasure your female friends who you dont 'liek like' that you dont 'like like' to reassure them that your freindships wont change at all.

But thats just my 2 pennies, but hey, what the hell would i know?

Most people actually wait until college or beyond until they come out. It really isn't something I ponder over too often, as i am only a Sophomore. But if your mom would be okay with it, that should be one of your first steps. And if you still don't feel comfortable about coming out, think about this: Most people have a homophobic dad AND MOM. So don't put yourself to shame, you've got it good. ;]

Good idea. I told my mom when I was really young (12 or 13) and she kind of had a hard time with it at first. I eventually told her I changed my mind cause she made a remark that really hurt my feelings. Then last summer (2005) I just went up to her and told her I'm not straight. It actually worked really well, even though she's not completely used to it yet.

And as for friends, speaking from personal experience, only tell your really close friends. The ones you can trust to not run their mouths to everyone they talk to. I told a couple people and before I knew it people I've never talked to know what my sexuality is.

(I hope none of this made it sound really horrible to come out, cause it's not.)

Just tell your mum, and ask for her opinion on it, Also tell her to not tell anyone.
I see what you mean about keeping it bottled up, I felt the same way until I trusted my close friends with it.
And maybe if you told your close friends who you can trust it should make you feel better.

go to google and serch for coming out stories and it should help you im not gay but i have a friend who is and thats what he did it really helped him out he is openly gay to his family. he had me read these steps cause he came out to me first cause i was his best friend and i shunned him a bit but i relized he was still the same old person and was gay when i met him I just didn;t know it your parents might shun you at first but eventually they will learn to accept it the first step is knowing that you accept it
