Ok one of my mates ALWAYS *****es to me about her 'best mate' and I just say, why not talk to her about it, why tell me, what can i do about it etc, and shes like I dont want her to know, when there together, there really nice and everything, and when she goes, my mates like OMG i HATE her what do i do?
I'd smack her one.
Tell her to grow up and let her know how immature she's being. If that doesn't help, tell the friend she's talking about.
A lot of my friends talk crap about each other, too.

Girl's ***** all the time, it's natural but if she's continuously doing it then no, she's not entitled to do it. Explain to her that if she's not going to tell the person to their face then there's no point in doing it behind their back, it's just plain cowardly.
I wouldn't tell the other girl because you'll risk two friendships, the one who's *****ing for telling on her, and the girl she's *****ing about for not telling her sooner.
Just think like this if shes saying that about your other friend when ses no around wat could she be saying about you behind your back
