Oh please shut up. Most of the users on here play Habbo often or don't use it anymore. 85% probably have verified their email.

Is it news? Yes. It's a competition that's on the Habbo Hotel homepage and therefore making it appropriate to post. :)

Then they would have heard about it some other way. Whether you like it or not (seeing as you are so desperate to win a t-shirt signed by office staff) it's news and everyone has a right to know. :)
