once you have bourght it of steam or game its free
Steam is a program where you buy games of with a debit / credit card. Once you buy a game it'll save on your account so you can keep redowloading if you delete it etc..
And i don't think you can get CS in the shops.. I haven't seen it hardly anywhere
CS:S is in the shops. ;/
You can get it for £29.99 I think. It includes Half Life 2:Deathmatch and Day of Defeat:Source.
That is where you are wrong it is £20 for 3 games hl2 death match dods and CS;S
I bought Hl2 Game of the year edition from game, and CS 1.6 from game, you don't pay montly.
You all confuse everything, for goodness sake.
Counter-Strike can be bought in games shops.
All you need is:

Less than £10.
If you're after CS Source then buy CS Source - not that hard is it?
Once you have them bought, you will simply need to download a free program, that organises your counter-strike games etc.
Seriously, stop with the pathetic posts like "U AVZ TO BUY IT ONLINEZ" - yes, you can purchase it online via that free program Steam, but it's only available for US residents (only takes US cards).
Oh and you DON'T have to pay montly.
Thanks.
