Give her the present?

I like this girl. but its weird because i dont have pyhsical feeling for her. just emotional. its like pre-school crushes. like 'ew cooties' haha. anyway i told her but i think i didnt explain myself well enough because it got REALLY awkward between us at school and i wouldnt be suprised if she thought it was lesbian-creepyish. it got really awkward for about 2 months until she left our school because her parents didnt want her at our school. she left at the end of the holidays and she wasnt allowed to go out & see any of us because she was grounded and now its the 2nd week of term 4 and shes already acting like shes forgotten about us. she may not even be acting..., i was upset that she left and many other things so i called out 2 of my best friends to get wasted with me (not the time to judge what i choose to do). so we all went to one of my best friends house the night befor term 4 and got wasted. we ended up going down to a near-by park and just laughing our heads off. until it got to an awkward silence and one of my best friends said to me: "you look like youve got something on your mind, whats going on?" i hestitated for like 10 mins till i told them i like one of our mates. after i finished explaining the situation to them best friend 1 said "i think she likes the fact you like her" my best friend 2 just sat there but agreed with bestfriend 1. they both ended being ok with it and actually understood that its not a lesbian/bisexual sort of thing. both of my best friends actually told there stories of likeing the same sex in their past aswell! i felt like my 2 best friends and i all became much closer after that night and it feels great for them to understand how i feel.
about a week ago. best friend 1 told the girl i like that i told both best friend 1 & 2 what i said when we got drunk. and so the girl i liked said 'did you say anything about me to bestfriends 1&2 when you got drunk?' and i was just acting stupid saying yes but saying other things. i knew she wanted me to say it. even though she best friend 1 told her everything i said. so i said to her "whats the point when you already know" (implieing i knew about best friend 1 telling her everything) but she started acting dumb again and said "just say anyway" i got really annoied and said again "whats the point.." and she just said "arg dw" and then i got really angry and said "yea cause im to stubborn to say it" it ended up me saying that i would like to say it to her face because everytime i try and explain it to her over msn she never 'understands' what im sayn. i also said that if we meet up i wouldnt try n kiss her. because im absoulutey certain she thinks im lesbian, i dont want her thinking that.
it was her birthday afew weeks ago and i still havent given her present to her. it cost me around 200 dollars and i made an agreement with the owner of the store that i can pay it off. so i have to get 200 dollars by the end of this week and then maybe ask her to come meet up with me on sunday just to give it to her and explain.
Anyone think its a good or bad thing to what im going?? (considering what ive explained whats happened to us over the past 4-5months)

Just do what you feel is right. You obviously care about this person so I'd give her the present. The situation is a bit confusing though from the sounds of it. I wouldn't talk over MSN about it, if anything talk to her straight face to face and tell her your thoughts. That way she will see how you feel. :)

I truthfully wouldn't bother.
it's so nice you've actually bought her a very very dear present that i'm sure you'll regret.

She's just attention seeking and hiding her true feelings or just likes the fact you like her.

I'd do what feels best as said by Hazel but also, remember what she's done? She 'forgot' about you and your friends and she isn't a true friend nevermind any other material.
