I've fancied this girl for 2 years

Hey,

Ok, well there's this girl I've fancied for about 2 years. I've never asked her out, but we're really good friends. I really really like her but I can't find the words to ask her out. Last time I saw her (About 2 months ago) we went to West Park (A huge park, mostly just trees, grass and stuff) and when she wasn't talking to anyone, she kept coming to me and talking to me. That night I tried to ask her out on MSN, but I couldn't really find the words. I said there's something I have to tell you, then she went offline. Was this a hint or just coincidence?

I really want to ask her out, but I'm scared of rejection and ruining our friendship. What should I say to her?

I'd take the plunge and just tell her that you like her, 2 years is a long time and if you have felt this way for this long then its probarbly not a phase. If she makes a big deal out of it and carries on then shes probarbly not a person you would want to date. Just remember you only live once.

Ask her to meet up to hang out or something. Just when your together casually (Be confident but don't stress out) say "hey, go out with me"
Not very subtle but it'll shock them and they'll be like "Woah he is pretty confident. I'm going to say yes"
Then she could make out with you right then and there.

Or just continue to live your life as a friend always wanting and always needing but never asking and never getting.

Btw the messenger thing wasn't a good move. She may have signed out because she thought "Oh I seriously don't want him to ruin this by being so shy and nervous".

Mmmm, I remembered fancying the crap out of 2 girls for like 3 years... Never did a thing about it though...

What I suggest would be to ask her out just to go out somewhere where there are alot of other people, Erm, bowling maybe? (Lol) and just try and have as much fun as possible and see how she reacts to just being there with you. Watch the way she looks at you and the expressions she uses.

Just randomly text her/call her/MSN her saying: "Heya, fancy going bowling (Or whatever activity you choose) sometime" and if she says yes then she's already accepted and that must mean she likes you in some shape or form. :p

(Just whatever you do, don't take her to the cinema), that is the worse place to take someone out. In the dark not speaking for an hour and a half.

Make sure you talk to her lots and just be your self.

Well, we were gonna meet up last week in the holidays, but we never got round to sorting it out. I think if I hadn't have moved school we might be going out with eachother. I think she'd be afraid of going out with me because we don't go to the same school and live about 10 miles from eachother. We wouldn't get to see eachother much.

It always seems like I can talk to her about anything I like, and she talks to me about anything she wants too.

Girls: Would you rather be asked out face-to-face or on MSN or text?
