and James, it doesnt tel you what broswer youre viewing in..

Splash and main page are absolutly fine in IE7. All I can see wrong is the poll, how the background is white? but maybe its IE7 not letting transparent backgrounds, I'm unsure. I don't know alot about IE7 anyway.

But yeah, both pages look fine.

Although may I recommend you remove the splash page...

Splash page is just your "Enter here" page.
