As long as you like her and she likes you, it doesnt matter. Popularity seems like a key role in schools nowadays. Popular people only go out with eachover and same for unpopular.
If you fancy someone, go for it. Who cares what people think. Their opinons dont matter to you as you havent asked for it.
If your mates do not respect the fact that you are with her, then they are not very good mates, why do they not like her? What has she done to them? We need the full story really.

Well i say go for it, if your mates say anything then ask them what their actual problem is with her, if it was because in their eyes she went 'a bit wierd' then they need to grow up a bit, teenage years are full of changes to the body and otherwise, and we all may go a 'bit wierd' during our teen years .... unfortunately some of us stay that way :p lmao.Quote:

I'm talking from experience here, as there are a few people in my school that have had the same happen to them. However, I make it a point to befriend these sort of people. I'm not what you would call unpopular, as I get on really well with everyone, have a huge group of great friends and an excellent social life. Dude, it's simple! If you like this girl and she likes you, then whats to stop you? I bet you'll find half the people who dislike her havn't even given her a chance and got to know her before. I say you should just go for it, and if you get any grief etc. just tell them you don't care because your happy. It's your life and it's nothing to do with them - and if your constantly going to be worried about what other people think of your decisions all your life, then trust me - it isn't going to be a very good one! Also, if their your true friends they should respect your decision and not try and put you down.
You never know, by getting with her you might actually be able to introduce her to your own friends and she could meet some new people through it all and show everyone shes not just a "weirdo". :)
You know what you wan't to do mate, so don't let other people ruin a good decision and chance for you.
