Royal wedding postponed for Pope

The wedding of Prince Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles has been moved to Saturday so that the Prince can attend the Pope's funeral.
The royal wedding date has been changed from Friday as "a mark of respect" for the former Catholic leader, said the Prince's office, Clarence House.

The couple were to marry on 8 April but changed their plans when the Vatican announced the funeral arrangements.

Mrs Parker Bowles will not be going to the funeral with Prince Charles.

A Clarence House spokesman said: "HRH the Prince will attend the funeral of Pope John Paul II in Rome.

"As a mark of respect His Royal Highness and Mrs Parker Bowles have decided to postpone their wedding until Saturday."


Mrs Parker Bowles will go to a service for the Pontiff at Westminster Cathedral, along with Prime Minister Tony Blair, who earlier announced he would delay calling a general election as a mark of respect for Pope John Paul II.

Prince Charles and Mrs Parker Bowles plan to marry in a civil ceremony, followed by a blessing in St George's Chapel at Windsor Castle.

Yup yup, But i don't see why the UK make such a big deal about this " royal " family.

I dont want them getting married, she is obviously only in it so she can become more important and she is an old cow and Charles is a 2 faced git. Him and that thing have been hanging around each other since Diana was around

The Royal Family is actually quite a rubbish family when you think about it.l..

i dont mind them being there, but i do mind the fact that new papers dont seem to get that no one gives a flying bobba about them, and realy dont cair about every thing they do. i find it hugly annoying, i mean who seriosly, cairs about most the stuff?

2. prince washisname, in natzi sute. Even people potnaly offened took it as joke.
and the large array of other styuff theyve done which is complty irelvnet to 99.9% of the contrys lifes. I hate hearing about them, it drives me insain.

I guess they are a normal family when you think about but i hate the fact that Charles is a loser and Camilla is scum
