Invest - to get interest
I'd probably bank it until I know definately what I would want to spend it on. I'd divide the money into sections for family members for starters though.

but if i won £250,000 i'd probably keep it in the bank. it's not really that much money so i couldn't really start sharing it out for all my family.. but i'd probably give my rents some and my sister. buy a car and that and save money for uni.
Even though i would like it, 250k isnt really that much, it would JUST about buy you a nice house (where i live) spose you could by a nice house, but compared to other game shows like Millionaire it seems a bit inediquit (sp?)

If it was USD I would buy a small but decent house for myself in California and a really nice car. Then I'd save the rest.
