Bullies...
In the schools I have been to there are always many people who think they are 'hard' and can bully others. I choose not to be friends with the 'popular' people even though I get along with quite a few of them, but also because I consider my other friends proper friends. Anyway this boy started my school a while ago and we have never liked each other, he hangs around with the 'popular' people and goes round acting all 'hard', he has tried to bully me, but I live by the saying 'It takes a bigger man to walk away' so I jsut walk away and because of this many people believed I'm a '*****', so the other day this boy tried to jump me, but because he pushed me too far I stood up to him, but we never fought. At the end of the day though he did start a fight with me and I just wouldn't give him a chance to punch me and after several attempts from him I started punching him back and the fight stopped because the teacher broke it up. Now what I want to know is 'why do people beleive they can bully others' and was that the right thing to do??

Well good on you... you stood up for yourself. :) But yeah its really bad for him to be new to the school and to start bullying people.
-
Good for you, if you realy think you can beat him in a fight, start him after school when you see him in the street.
At least it carnt get broke up there, and yes - it was the right thing to do.
Just stand up to bullies and they will go away.

But I pity him...I'm really quite skinny and he's quite big and yet I wouldn't allow him to hit me, everyone said it was funny how he couldn't hit me no matter how hard he tried and everyone has said to me get him after school, but I do't know whether I can because when ever I walk past him he looks down and stops talking:s

Lol.
I have same situation. A tiny girl started on me saying "You wanna fight about that?"
I just stood forward, looked down on her and raised my eyebrows. as if to say "try it." She *Text Removed* off after that.

never start a fight with him - because then technically you're just as bad. as long as the only time you physically hit him it is in self-defence you should be okay. in reality, 'telling a teacher' will never really help, you just have to stick up for yourself.

Yeah I never thought 'telling a teacher' would work so I never tried it lol.

Omg the better man doesnt walk away... well thats my opinion.. if you want it to stop do something crazy like hit him with a school chair then tell all the other bullies in the room that if they want a go come get some, even if they beat the poop out of you afterwards you still stuck up for yourself and youll be nicknamed the crazy chair kid and be untouchable :)
