Emergency - My whole life can change...

This is probabbly the biggest emergency I have posted on habbox. I talk to a counseller every Tuesday at school. I have been for few months and I keep saying I want to run away from home because theres a lot of problems. This week I said that me and my friend are going to London this Saturday for a day out, and that I considered not coming back and staying there. So she got the Child Protection Agency person involved and she came in (Little to my knowledge that it was my German teacher:P ) And she said that I may have to go into a care home. Im so scared and worried, and its out of my hands now. Everything I said is true but I think i should say I made it up, so I dont have to go into care. I really think I should say that, but what do you think? What can I do?

If she's aware of your problems, which you say is involved with your home life; she may feel they're affecting you so much so that a care home would be the best for your performance and general well being.

if you've not discussed your problems with your parent(s) and you feel you should, you really should... they can help and it'll be better.

As for the 'care home' I suggest you tell your councillor you don't want to. But you've complained so much so they can do whatever they feel best for your well-being.

I'm sure they'll be discussing your condition and problems with your parents now, if they feel they should. I can't recommend what to do and what not to do, you'll need to see how things go. But telling your councillor that you're going to run away and then saying about your trip, really doesn't helpt he matter; if you're serious or not.

Say you lied about wanting to stay in London or you could say you wanted to stay there because London is a better city than were you live?

If your life at home really is as bad as you have been telling your concellor, and you seriously have been considering running away from home, then I don't think you should lie.

Explain to them that you don't want to be put in any sort of care or home, and maybe suggest you could stay with an aunt or uncle or someone. However, if your life at home is so tense and you are considering these drastic measures - maybe it would be for the best?

I think you should perhaps sit down and speak to your mother and tell her everything you've been saying. Make sure shes fully aware of all the problems you have and your grievances with staying at home. It'll put her clearly in the picture and allow her to make the changes you need, otherwise she faces losing you.

i thought that stuff was all confidential :s.. well try as said above that u lied if that dont work then really worry them and say u will run away, if they still do nothin, stay at a mates house for a night or 2, then go back! they'll know ur serious about not going into a home and that u just happened to be a lil down ;)

My auntie and uncle live in central London but I cant stay with them because they work from 8-5 and i would be on my own. They were considering sending me up to London with schoolwork for 4 weeks.

i had counselling and they said i had to go into a home.

i said **** im not going because im being given evrything i need where i am

they said aslong as your not being mistreated we are happy to leave you where you are

that was the end of it

It is not out of your hands. You can glasp your words and keep them within you. What are your problems? Are they really that serious? Are you just seeking for somthing?

I dont want to know the answers, i just want you to tell yourself the answer. If your really worried, that truely means you do not want to go. If you arn't bothered and you want to run away do it. Just think about these;
- Where will you go?
- How will you get food?
- Where are you going to get your money?

Tell the councellor you've thought about what has happened. Tell her what you truelly think. She knows whats right. Unfortunatly if that means going to a care home, so be it. At least all the questions above will be answered.
