Perhaps they were planning to get a clearer video image on the website hosted by themselves but couldn't because of the "technical difficulties" or whatever they said they had. Then they just thought, whatever, put it on YouTube.
I would've thought they would get a pixel artist to do a short scene with their own stage, habbos etc. I could've made this version.
That's kinda sad, lol...
