Ive done lost city now.
Got 31 crafting and 40 wc and 25 magic also =]

Gnomes at the khzarahid battlefield are great pure training, they are only lv 1, they have no def, and a decent ammount of hits, and there are 10000s of em, you wont run out of guys.

I know that this works very well for melee pures also, as i trained mine here.

I'd try Varrock Sewers. I'm level 78 and train there on the mossies. Or Al'Kharid Warriors.
