Heya, i think you should put a banner above the advertisement saying something like 'You have 'x' amount of PM's, Click Here to read them' cos then ppl would notice it a lot more, not everyone focuses on their PM's. any1 else agree?

In your User CP, you can turn on an option to have a popup (Javascript) alert tell you when you have a new PM. It's what I use :)
I thought the PM thing above the advertisments was okay. You can tell if it's changed to Unread 1.
If not, get a popup as suggested by ReviewDude.
Yeah, i'd just use pop up - you can't miss 'em then!

I read PM's when i can be bothered sometimes the stay for a day or two.
I use the pop-up :)
The js popups are annoying, i have em off, VB really need a decent full popup or dhtml one so its not so annoying to have on, and also somewhat more useful i thinks personaly, although thats more a software issue than anything else "/
