Yes they did, Billy Talent is an amazing band, they're music is good and pretty catchy, they deserved it as much as any good band did, which is clearly obvious because they won didn't they?

They are, just because you don't like them it doesn't mean the rest of the world doesn't, they are a good band, thousands, maybe millions of people love them, you're just bummed because a band you like didn't win. :)
