If you like it its your choice... there shouldn't be an age limit.
If you go on pkmn.net the owners of the site are like 25 so you know.. you can play at any age.
If you like it, play it. It doesn't matter what other people think, I still play on Mario for the SNES and nobody ever says anything if I am discussing Mario with my mates at school or something. Just do what you like. :P
