Dry skin.

So yeah I've got really bad dry skin on my face. Its on and around my cheekbones and also I have a little bit around the chin area too. I was just wondering is there anything good I could use that I would have around the house.
I don't want to be going out and buying £20 moisturises :rolleyes:. I ain't that bothered i would just rather have dry skin tbh rather than pay that much lol. I was just thinking if anything would work that I may have laying around the house.

You could make an appointment with your GP! ;)

If you go to your doctors and explain you've got some really dry, broken or irritative skin problems they'll take a quick look at it and give you a prescription for a moisturising cream like E45 which you can then pick up at your chemist courtesy of the NHS! ;)

E45 is a really good product which actually works. You could just buy it over the counter for no more than £3 in a shop or at your local chemist, but if you don't wanna pay anything and are under 16 - if you go to your doctor you'll get it free, or at a reduced price via a perscription.

I have dermitrtis in the corner of my nose, it's really wierd. Is that the same thing

A little bit of sorbolene or vitamin e cream there should be some of that around the house.

E45 works a treat :P I have really dry legs form shin pads and it really works.. However on the pack it does say that contact with the eyes is bad so makes ure u apply it careflully

Get it checked out by your doctor.

But in the meantime you could buy some vaseline, or petroleum jelly which is the same but probably cheaper, and use that rather than expensive moisturisers. I use vaseline on my lips because they get really dry.
