this weekend

idk if its a good idea or not, i've been invited to go to payson or something.. on vacation with my friend, one problem though, her family is going to be there and they are all strong mormons (for those who don't know its a religion)
they don't like saying "oh my god" "what the hell", which I say frequently and could pose a problem... i'll also have to follow all of their rules of their religion when i'm with them, and theres a not, like, no caffeine, very family orientated, no alcohol, your not allowed to show your shoulders, above knees, stomach, not allowed to wear bikinis etc, I just don't want to forget something and offend them ..

do you think its a good idea going?

I'd think you better not go. Looking at the restrictions, this is what a typical British/American will do. If you do still plan on going, get your friend, or tell your friend's parents that you might accidentally break some of this rules, to get them mentally prepared. Also tell them to remind you if they see something that is against their religion.

Dunno really, I'm going to Wales this weekend to stay with a friend, and I'm worried enough about her parents as it is, if they were strict Mormons I'd definitely have no idea what to do.

To be honest, look on the positive side and it could turn out to be fun.
Firstly, you will be with your friend, therefore thats good as it is, then you will be living inside a different culture which you are not used to, this means you can learn about it more and also will give you an idea of what your mates life style is. The parents would obviously bare in mind that your not a mormon and should not be offended if somthing slips away out of your mouth and stuff.

If you feel that you might let them down by doing somthing kind of offensive to them then I wouldnt consider going, however if your up for the things I said above, I'de say go for it, it can turn out to be better than you think. :)

I would personally go, it isn't going to be forever and you might enjoy yourself :)

Although they follow that religion i dont think they would make you, fair enough saying hell or god as that is offending them but i think you should be able to wear what you want.

Maybe if you talk to your friend about this :D
