i know its a little late now but anyway
very unlikey she would get pregnant.
What is it?
It's a tablet taken by a woman usually so that she can have sex without getting pregnant. Some pills are also taken to sort out troublesome periods. There are two main types: the combined pill (containing the hormones oestrogen and progestogen) and mini-pill (or progestogen-only pill).
How does it work?
The pill may prevent pregnancy in three ways:
• By stopping ovaries releasing eggs (ovulation).
• Thickening vaginal fluids so sperm can’t reach an egg.
• And making the womb slippery so eggs can’t stick to it.
Does the Pill always work?
When used properly, the Pill is over 99% effective.
However, it might not work if the woman misses pills out, doesn’t take them at the same time each day or gets sickness or diarrhoea.
the pill works, mostly. ;)
It has a very high suces rate its 98 something or other i belive.
But remember it doesant protect against STI's.
Yes its 98-99% effective meaning everyone 1 or 2 in 100 will get pregnant. But I suggest you use a condom just incase as its better safe than sorry ;)
If your unsure about it ask your school nurse for example or go to the doctors for advice. Its 100% confidential and your parents dont have to know. Its better if you do otherwise theres always the risk of catching an STI so its better safe than sorry
