He was a nice guy, I liked him when he was by himself, but i can't bare him when he is with others. He needs to grow up.
I've decided that i'm not going to speak to him again.
I thanked him for our 6 years of friendship.

and I feel like crap now.

(also, I do know ryan irl, but he uses the forum - and I don't give a damn if you reply either ryan)

I think its a universal thing... I too have the same problems with my friend. No matter how much I try not to screw things up or praise him, he always have to be such a jerkoff. I swear, I think highly of this guy and think of him as the older sibling I ALWAYS wanted. But yeah, he has to act as a jerkoff. And I'm starting to question my friend... before he use to be a private person who would always keep things inside of him. And now, the trust I had gain from him is futile... It's like for everything I did the time we spent is nothing... because with people he barely knows for 1 minute he acts if they are best friends. I know that I'm being selfish for saying this but, it really does make me think that this guy isn't my friend.

I just wish people can take into consideration of their friends... it just makes me feel like crap too...

I had the same problem with my other friends. We were usually only hanging out the 2 of us, but when ever I brought one of my friends or he brought one of his friends, he just acts like he's better than me and brings up all my personal things to make me look stupid.

After a while, I just got tired of it, and I told him to just shut up about these issues, but he didn't. I then realized he only cared about how cool he looked, and that he wasn't a real friend. I then just stopped talking to him, and we haven't spoken in months.

I never bought this person as a friend. This person actually came to me--approached me. But the thing that is bothering me is, that if he thinks that I'm his friend. He does things based on equality... for instance, if you don't know him and like you put him on your top 8 on myspace, he'll do the same thing and put you in the same place as you did... eghh, I'm not going anywhere with this...

I suggest just ditch him. No point being friends with him. If he really wants to be a friend with you, he would obviously won't do such stuff (:

Im currently in a similar situation with around 4-5 of my friends. They've changed alot over the last 12 months, and they don't bother phoning to see how i am, they only phone when they need money, or know im going to a party and are trying to angle themselfs a invite. I mean i wouldn't mind but there so two faced most of them, and i wouldnt trust them as far as i could throw them, and at the moment thats nowhere.

I just can't wait till i start college and move on, because then i won't ever have to see them again.

However over the last 12-18 months i have spent alot more time with my family due to personal issues which have arose, but i did make time for friends.

My advice is once the trust element in a friendship is gone, they might aswell be just another face in the street, thats what 'ships' are based on, trust.

I see what you are saying. Yeah I have this friend of mine too, he just uses me... but I think he is trying to be my friend and he is able to trust me. But yeah, not so the same with my other friend, the one I actually do care for. The thing is, he seems to get really annoyed by me lately... and I don't know whats wrong! He won't tell me... there is no trust in this friendship. I want him to tell me whats wrong with me... I want him to tell me whether or not he is my friend. He never indicates it to me.
